Originally from the Tri-Cities area, Ms. Powell attended the University of Idaho where she focused her studies on Psychology and Sociology.


During her time at Willamette, she worked for the Oregon Department of Justice Child Advocacy Section representing the Department of Human Services/Child Welfare advocating for children in the foster care system. She continues to advocate for foster children in juvenile dependency proceedings as a volunteer CASA/Guardian ad Litem for the Benton and Franklin County Juvenile Justice Court.

Ms. Powell joined the Ashby Law team because she believes in the vision the firm has for the community. She has dedicated her career to promoting resolution, not conflict.
