A Compassionate Advocate with a Personal ConnectionAttorney Lindsay King

Ms. Lindsay King approaches her work with warmth, empathy, and a strong sense of justice. She believes the attorney-client relationship is built on trust and openness, encouraging clients to share their concerns and goals freely. Known for her genuine kindness and ability to connect on a personal level, Ms. King strives to make every interaction supportive and solutions-focused.

Having grown up as the child of a single mother, Ms. King has a deep understanding of the challenges families face during times of transition. Her mother’s resilience and dedication to helping others inspired her to pursue a career in family law, where she could assist families in building stronger futures. This personal connection fuels her work, especially in emotionally charged cases involving domestic violence or child custody.

Strategic Guidance for Families in Transition

Ms. King understands that every family’s situation is unique, and she tailors her legal strategies to meet her clients’ specific needs. Whether guiding an amicable mediation or advocating in court, she helps clients focus on practical solutions that prioritize the best interests of children. She ensures her clients feel informed and supported throughout the legal process, empowering them to make decisions with confidence.

Her strong sense of justice is especially evident in cases involving domestic violence protection orders. Ms. King approaches these cases with sensitivity and diligence, ensuring her clients’ voices are heard and their rights protected. Whether representing a petitioner seeking safety or a respondent facing false accusations, she provides balanced and tireless advocacy to achieve a fair and just outcome.

Mediation: Privacy and Empowerment

Ms. King is a strong proponent of mediation as an alternative to litigation. She believes mediation allows families to resolve their disputes in a private, respectful setting—keeping personal matters out of public courtrooms. Mediation, she explains, often reduces stress and costs while giving clients more control over the outcome of their cases.

Through mediation, Ms. King creates a safe space where clients can speak openly and work collaboratively toward resolutions that meet their needs. Her calm demeanor and practical guidance help clients navigate even the most challenging conversations with confidence and clarity.

Rooted in the Pacific Northwest, Inspired by Life

Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Ms. King fell in love with Washington State while attending law school at Gonzaga University (Go Zags!). Drawn by the welcoming community and natural beauty of the area, she chose to stay and build her career here.

Outside the office, Ms. King enjoys hiking, running, snowboarding, and spending time by the river. A former rugby player, she remains passionate about the sport and can often be found cheering on her favorite team, the South African Lions. She also has a deep appreciation for underdog stories, whether on the field or in life—a perspective that inspires her to fight for her clients with determination and care.

Guiding Families Toward Stability

Ms. King’s dedication to her clients stems from her belief that family law is about more than legal resolutions—it’s about helping people through some of life’s most difficult moments. Whether assisting with parenting plans, property division, or probate matters, she ensures her clients feel supported and empowered.
