Build a probate practice that combines administration, litigation, and meaningful client responsibility.
Pacific Northwest Family Law is seeking a mid-level attorney for its Richland office to handle probate, estate-related disputes, TEDRA matters, adult guardianships, and related litigation.
This is primarily a probate litigation and administration position.
We are looking for an attorney who can take meaningful responsibility for cases, work directly with clients, and develop into an increasingly independent practitioner. Candidates with substantial probate experience are preferred, but we will also consider capable litigators who are serious about learning probate and related practice areas.
The attorney may also assist with family law or other related matters when client demand and capacity make that appropriate.
Probate Work Requires More Than Forms and Administration
Probate practice can involve straightforward administration, but difficult matters often require litigation judgment.
Families may disagree about wills, trusts, property, fiduciary conduct, guardianships, or the administration of an estate. Attorneys handling these matters need to understand procedure while also knowing how to negotiate, investigate facts, develop evidence, and litigate when necessary.
This role is designed for an attorney who wants responsibility for both sides of the practice: the administration that moves an estate forward and the advocacy required when disputes arise.
At Pacific Northwest Family Law, attorneys also have access to experienced colleagues, shared systems, legal support, centralized intake, and firmwide infrastructure rather than operating as isolated practitioners. The firm’s recruiting materials emphasize that attorneys should spend their time on client counseling, legal strategy, writing, negotiation, hearings, trials, and case leadership rather than being required to generate all of their own work.
