Selah Base Race
Help us assist veterans in the area who have returned from the battlefield and are dealing with the struggles of civilian life.
Bring your family out to Selah’s annual Base Race at Carlon Park for a day of meaningful fitness and fun. Participants in the marathon will enjoy an exciting opening ceremony to celebrate veterans, and there will be hydration stations throughout the race course. The top male and female runners for each race will win cash prizes.
The proceeds from the race benefit the Soldiers Project, which aids service members upon their return from the field. The Soldiers Project helps service members who are dealing with mental health issues such as PTSD by providing counseling as these veterans transition back to civilian life.
